How to get to The Open from the camping grounds
The Westin Turnberry Resort with its Aisla links course is located just 1 mile from the campsites within Turnberry Holiday Park. There are are a range of options you can take when traveling between the camping grounds and The Open Championship tournament.
Walking
We recommend walking along the relaxing scenic nature trail across open grassland between the park and the golf course. Along the signed pathway you can feed the birds as it is a natural haven for many Scottish wildlife species.

Parking at Turnberry Holiday Park is free for all resident campers. If you have a car, you can drive by following the specific ‘Open’ signs provided by The AA. Drivers who fail to follow these directions or who use alternative routes are liable to encounter delays.
