Park Facilities for Campers at Turnberry Holiday Park

The park offers a safe and secure environment for visitors of the 2009 British Open Championship to stay during the tournament. Campers have full access to all of the parks modern facilities, including toilets and showers. Our newly refurbished bar offers a range of entertainment which includes live bands, pub quizzes and bingo. For families, there is a children's arcade and outdoor play area and a tranquil beer garden.

A mini market opens daily for groceries and newspapers and there is a restaurant/takeaway to cater for all your needs along with a laundrette on park. Our fully enclosed heated swimming pool* is the ideal place to relax after a day's viewing of the tournament on the Turnberry golf course. Dowhill Country Fayre farm shop and restaurant are at the entrance to the park offering local produce such as producing home grown strawberries, beef, lamb, pork and poultry supplied by local farms.

*Note on restrictions: Use of the indoor swimming pool must be booked in advance. Due to local fire regulations during July, open campfires are strictly prohibited within the grounds of Turnberry Holiday Park. However personal BBQ's of all types are welcome. Tourers and tents are welcome, however, there will be no electrical hookup or powered sites for those staying within the camping grounds.
